In this house we do Thanksgiving like pirate ninjas. A feast of Chinese take out and apple cider with an option spike of spiced rum.

The happier news today is that my son was very sad about missing the stuffed animal reading party at school today since we are all staying home very sick with the flu. To cheer him up (and hopefully win best mom of the year award) I built the kids a blanket fort (my toddlers first one!) and they are absolutely obsessed. I mean, look how dang cozy this thing is!

I have some sad news... Today I found a large tumor on the back of my 4 year old sweetest little Robo Dwarf I adopted for free off craigs list. He's being very social after a period of being not so social suddenly which is how I spotted it. His name is Snap Peas and he lives in a 30gallon fish tank.
