I went for a walk to clear my head, moving through a humbler barrio where I rarely take photos, and just get to enjoy the sights and sounds. The haphazard housing filled with people doing chores with care. Sancocho cooking open-flame on the street. Children out idling in the sun. Music, music, everywhere. 💛 Perfection.

To be clear, there are plenty of cats in my world here, but in many more... semi-domestic relationships, like this café cat whose name is *not* a problem here but... yeah. Not one I'm repeating with this pasty-white ghost skin. 🙃 (You can read it on the sign in the other photo.)

This old fellow is a royal suck who drools something fierce, and just wanted a good cuddle for his old bones. As do we all! May you be so spoiled in turn. 💛 #CatsOfCoSo #Caturday #CaffeineClub

🎉 I told my brother about #CoSo, and while he's not joining (yet!), he gave me permission to offer up Toebeans (Toby for short, Mr. Pickles to many) for #Caturday #CatsOfCoSo.

This adorable jerk's current hobbies are a) sitting on my brother's books when he needs to study, b) getting bite-y when my brother's writing by hand, & c) benevolently sharing of his bliss when my brother turns his attention to the only topic that matters: Toebeans 101, 102, & Advanced Tobyism.

Class is in session. 😂

Hey #CoSo! 👋 For my upcoming article at #OnlySky about my first week here, I've put together a visual guide for the new free-account user, to help them make sense of the maybe-new-to-them layout.

I thought it might be a good shareable resource right away for the #CoSoTips crowd, too, though, so I hope this is useful for others just getting started.🤞 If you see someone confused, please feel free to send this image along!

M L Clark's 3 #Writing rules:

1) Write what you *want* to know.

2) When writing another context, always elevate its own storytellers. Be a megaphone to the lesser-heard, not a "voice to the voiceless".

3) Let any given story go. If the theme is true, it will come back to you. 💛
