Now that I'm crashing out less.

We have a long list of shit to do before I have surgery in 7 weeks. There's a lot of tree debris to be cleaned up, a tree to come off the roof amd cut, a dumpster to get, a garage to be torn down, and getting the inside to a better level since I won't be able to lift for 6 weeks.... in the meantime, 4 of those weeks, I am working 48-60 hours between both jobs and OT shifts.

I am a fucking idiot.

Hubby has busted ass and sacrificed sleep to try to keep the generators running and learned how how to run our furnace on one.

Except now, he's really really struggling. I called off. He took his seroquel, getting some sleep, and after we take kiddo to school, we're gonna to have him evaluated to see if he needs inpatient at all. He's been struggling for a while and this just made it so much worse.

We went 120 hours, almost to the minute, with no power. We are now owners of a generator, I don't want to see or eat fast food for a really really really long time and now, clean up and clean out starts
So cold
Power was supposed to be back on at 11pm . It is how slated for tomorrow at 11pm. So far, it's been 60 hours with no power.
Instead of "ladies and gentlemen", I should start saying "creatures great and small"

Down side of sleeping with a fan is that kiddo cannot sleep in silence now. Whoops. My white noise app had a fan sounds on it, so we have a mix of normal fire with a fan added so it sounds more like our room.

Everyone else on the street has power, but we are connected to the side street one, so we are out along with everyone else behind us.

Its 40° now, I am just hoping that the other 3 humans and all the animals here can stay warm. Our neighbor has offered her sectional and spare room, its just the animals that we will struggle with. Its a wee hard to pack up 4 cats, 4 dogs and a bunny. Though I think the bunny and cats will be fine, its the dogs that are freeze babies.

Glad I have this brick.

Pretty bad windstorm today. Good news? Two of 3 trees that needed to come down came down... bad news? One hit the roof and tore some gutters.

We've also been without power for 12 hours now with no idea when it will be restored. I'll be taking a cold shower in a few hours to get ready for work. I cant wait. -_- As far as I can tell, no one has been out to assess but there are outages all over. Naturally, we're the only house on our street connected to the down line.
