No, but for these OnlyOffice is a viable alternative. @surgarsweat was referring to way advanced features, not something secretaries or HR or accounting will need. I have use OnlyOffice for 6 years now, and have yet to find an Excel need it could not fulfill.
Nomachine

I am with gustofwind here. I use AI to help me quickly draft up mindless policies, then read through it and edit it where needed. It is a lot faster than any typing I can do.

I also use it to help me find configs for stuff I deploy, but I make sure it attaches the source link for me, so I can read the original source docs and keep a sane approach to what I am doing.

Again, I also think it is way overvalued, but to say it has not helped me build successful stuff over the past 2 years would be a lie. My 2c

GitLab can do all of this. But iirc the Epic feature is paywalled. As for a plain ticketing system(that can integrate with GitLab, try Zammad.
I concur. If you want ‘basically word with a different logo’ use OnlyOffice. Collabora is not there.
Does each user have their own account? Or can anyone and everyone see all the pdfs? Or are the pdfs only stored for the duration of the browser session?
Somewhere a mathematician just had the biggest heart attack ever 😂
Welcom to the world of self-hosting :-D
First Friday of the month. Easy to remember.

Thank you for all the information. I have had servers now for 7 years already, and honestly I still love them. I run a bit more than just seflhosting home-based applications, but I totally get your point. I am a bit older, and therefor a bit more old-school :) I sleep safely to the hum of redundant PSUs and Hardware RAID SSDs, haha.

Especially thank you for PiKVM and NanoKVM. I am looking into that a bit.

I am fully off-grid, so power cost is not that big of a deal, and the servers are far enough away for the noise not to bother me.

I am not against anything you said, honestly. And I got a lot of new info. I am going to say this though: I am still not too convinced on the software RAID thing though. Maybe I am just too stupid, but I have not been able to get this going with the same ease, and have it recover as easily as proper hardware RAID. One day I will take the leap again and try to “get with the times”.

Thanks again for all the info! Honestly appreciate it.
