@my2k @alienghic Brave will also continue supporting Manifest V2 extensions after Chrome ceases to, somehow.

@my2k @alienghic Well, like I said, this is not the case with Brave because it doesn't rely on extensions to block ads and trackers (the chromium changes are specifically in regards to the extension api), they are built into the browser and therefore unaffected.

@alienghic @my2k From what I remember, Brave is more secure and private than vanilla Firefox, but less so than "hardened Firefox", but using "hardened Firefox" made the internet nearly unusable for me.

@alienghic @my2k Brave is cool in that it has a built in ad and tracker block like Ublock, its built into the browser so its not affected by Google's changes to how extensions work so it'll still work. Sadly though, it seems to be crypto focused which is disappointing as someone who hates the crypto space.

@mdmrn That's pretty exciting tbh. I've always wanted to see more people get into Bleach, but it's always been a hard sell cause of how long it is. So people coming on by to check it out themselves is always nice!
