All my neighbors are enjoying the St. Patrick’s block party, meanwhile I’m out in the alley wondering what the backstory might be.

What I want for my birthday this year is for Brad Pitt to stand outside my building and scream “HECTOR!” for a few hours. Because at this point, why not?

Even if there is a hung jury, even if he is found not guilty, #AlexMurdaugh will spend the rest of his life incarcerated for his craven, bottomless financial crimes, to include stealing $ from a friend who was dying of cancer. But what would really give me satisfaction is calling in #SeanPenn, who would surely get a confession out of him, ala Mystic River. #murdaughtrial

My neighbors are so creative.

#AlexMurdaugh stated in court this morning that he intends to take the stand in his double murder case. Yikes.

This morning's assertion of the #Murdaugh defense team that testimony in the case this week has amounted to "character assassination" of the accused is comical. Defense witnesses turning out to be the best thing that's happened for the prosecution (besides OnStar and cell phone technology) is not the fault of the state. Who's at fault? The defendant, who has done a slam dunk of a job of assassinating his own character, in addition to that of his family, colleagues, friends, etc.

The entitlement and craven self-absorption on display at the Alex Murdaugh murder trial is an obscenity. Also: No grown-ass man should be called "Buster."
