I kinda hate the fact that I've advertised my mastodon page on birdsite when I'm planning on moving on over to a new instance. The one I'm planning on moving requires admin verification beforehand though and things are going way too fucking fast.
So, does this make Mastodon the restaurant at the end of the universe, watching the birdiverse die while we dine on sentient cows that long for death?
Pro-tip: If you need to reinstall GRUB and you're forced to specify the EFI directory path, don't point to /boot/EFI like I did and spend hours wondering WTF you're doing wrong. Just /boot/ is enough.
@kihira I might take you up on that offer since my current instance is infested with spam bots and the admin team seem to be MIA.
Got tired of just constantly blocking and reporting all the spam bots. Ended up just filtering all the scam URLs they posted. Not quite as clean as I'd like since it sometimes says "Filtered" 2-6 times in a row on my local timeline, but saves me a hell of a lot of time.
