I had hoped to be able to post it when he was found guilty in that case BUT I’ll take the judicial system working where it can.

Yesterday the extremist group Moms 4 Liberty was in MY neighborhood knocking on doors to try to get voters to retain our extremist group allied school board member. This morning I’m planning where to send canvassers to talk to voters about voting YES on the recall. YES for safe school! Mr. Boots decided I needed a break though. Come to Beamer Park today (Sunday) at 1pm to help knock on doors. We need all the help we can get.
Let’s get rid of this anti-trans, anti-ethnic studies, Moms 4 Liberty aligned, school board member. Please attend our fundraiser or donate today! Reaching voters is critical. Our paper hasn’t printed a single word about the recall so most people don’t even know we succeeded in making it to the ballot let alone know they need to vote very soon on the recall. I’m still trying to gather the words to say this so I’m not posting yet on the recall Facebook page about this but…we did it! We are officially going to have a recall for trustee MacDonald. I got notice about an hour ago saying the office of elections has certified the recall petition and are calling for a recall election.
In our family we get icecream after voting on Election Day to celebrate democracy. My smart spouse said this counts so we are all haveing icecream sandwiches to celebrate.
Happy 14th wedding anniversary to @rrgeorge ! I can’t imagine a better person to have spent these years with or a better person to grow old with.
The second photo is our first date in Cairo with the great pyramids of Giza behind us. Maybe some day we can take our kids to see the amazing country that brought us together and which played such a role in us being who we are today. Insha'allah.
