@danielpunkass I think the snark would be less if we were taxing really rich people much more and also got back to big money out of politics (Citizens United reversal). Ultimately just having really rich people spend more doesn't have nearly the impact and trickle down benefit to society of simply taxing them more. These weren't just sort of rich people, but fantastically well off people. The brazenness of the CEO in his disregard for safety critiques doesn't help one bit either.
