Professional artist person and hermit. I do all kinds of 2D and 3D art, mostly for games. Scifi and PS1/Y2K aesthetics are especially fun. Currently freelancing and open to new gigs.

I also do figure drawing and some sculpting, so I post artistic nudity occasionally.

Weird but functional flying machine.
This week I've been playing #NeNeKoNeKo, which is a cute and kind of chill but also brutal little game. Basically packing cat polyominoes into suitcases with cheery music and a timer breathing down your neck. $5 on Steam, I think only a small playerbase judging by the reviews. Anyway my brain latched on and I somehow got pretty good. 😎
@mogwai_poet That's well said. I try to keep this kind of thing in mind when I come across a generational vibe or art style that doesn't click in the slightest for me and lands as kind of annoying. There's all this meaning and energy inherent when a style is created in direct response to the "norm", but I can't truly experience that norm, and hence the contrasting meaning, if I wasn't born into it.

to rest where the stars lie.

The second one. A bit of an oldschool Warcraft RTS vibe with the blue roof tiles.

This one split the trimsheet's wall into two, to allow for both cobblestone and plaster. The tradeoff of that is that longer buildings require more geometry.

I made a couple of low-poly medieval houses at the start of the year.

These are done in the #256fes specifications, maximum of 256 triangles, with a 256x256 texture.

@lertsenem Thank you!

Instigated by the hit Bsky art prompt trend of March 2026: "Make a low poly rat"!

I went a little overboard, and maybe got too realistic for the spirit of the thing, but I had a lot of fun. Still kept them mostly within PS1 main character specs.
