Thoughts on the Philly game? - Lemmy.World
I’m really excited for Sunday. I think the lions have a shot to really put the
hurt in philly. My biggest fears are Goff in cold weather and our defensive
injuries. I think the o-line will play well because they’ll scheme it up… But
who knows. The interior line has tremendous highs this year, but also tremendous
lows.
Is there anything I can do to decrease the gap in my blinds?

Quickest way to navigate to my subscriptions - Lemmy.World
I’ve been using summit for a few weeks or so now and I very much enjoy it.
However, there’s a quirk that I can’t figure out. Is there a way to navigate to
my subscription list quickly? The way that I do it now is tap on my profile and
then I have to reach all the way to the top of my screen and hit subscriptions.
I was thinking there should be a way to do this in the nav bar in the bottom but
I couldn’t figure it out. The “home” button takes me to what appears to be all
instances.
Solar Panel Questions - Lemmy.World
I have recently purchased a home with solar panels. The previous owner didn’t
have a ton of information on them as she inherited the house from her mother who
passed away. She has the purchase agreement, but the company that did the
installation in 2014 has gone bankrupt (in 2020). I’d like to somehow figure out
how much energy I’m getting out of the panels. I got information from the
previous owner on their electric bill, which shows me I won’t be paying much.
But that doesn’t really answer my question about electricity generation. Looks
like I have 14 solar world Mono Black panels with model number 275. Any advice
on how I can go about figuring out exactly how much energy generation I’m
getting?
New home need direction - Lemmy.World
I will be moving into a new house in a few weeks. It’s an older house (built in
the 60s) and hasn’t had much updates in terms of wiring. I want to be able to
run a hardwire cable to each bedroom to maximize my Internet performance. My
wife works from home and I’m hybrid, so I want to ensure we’re not just flying
on WiFi. Are there any resources or how tos that can give me some information on
where to start? What to look for? What to do first? I’m struggling with figuring
out what I should try to tackle. Should I just run an Ethernet line to the room
that’s an office and start there? Or is there some well thought out approach I
can make? I know this is probably vague, but any assistance would be
appreciated.
Casting desktop to a TV - Lemmy.World
I searched around and I couldn’t find a way to cast my laptop running mint to my
TV. For reference, I am aware that I can cast to Chromecast supported devices
through chrome, but my TV is an LG and it does not support Chromecast. Does
anyone have a method to cast my desktop to an LG TV?
