The Opposite of Consistent

Worldbuilding addict, intermittent writer, exceedingly occasional artist.

Pronouns:He/They

Two things, mostly aimed to those who follow me (and the, somehow, small handful of people who started following me while I was away??)

1) I'm maybe going to be back on Mastodon more now?

2) in light of cybre.space shutting down, I'm going to be migrating over to Vulpine.club @LiquidAzoth

See ya around!

You, a fool: existing in a particulaur milieu which colors and shades your view of world events
Me, ascended brain, vibrating perfectly: In direct communion with the zeitgeist

I will say though, it is real funny how Aristotle (noted philosopher) thought the philosophic lifestyle was the height of human perfection and that in an ideal world philosophers would rule with absolute power

and then the prof says "well maybe Aristotle had biases but let's remove the plank in our own eye, y'know"

Aristotle's idea of a utopia ruled by an absolute philosopher-king especially comes across like a palette-swap of AI Machine God rulership: imagine a perfect [philosopher/machine] free of bias, prejudice and human foolishness, and give it absolute power
this may be an artifact of how my poli-phi prof is teaching it, but a lot of Aristotle's views on morality and justice read like somebody who thinks we should just build a powerful and moral AI and put it in charge.
the inverse of Cerberos: the headless golden cats of Olympus, soft-furred and shining, perfectly warm, perfectly obedient
the inverse of Charybdis: a spire that grows out of the sun and spears down at the earth, leaving the ground flecked with molten gold and utterly barren
Learning that Ancient Greek didn't have a soft 'c' sound is fucking me right up. It's not Cerberos, it's "ker-beros", it's not Circe, it's "kir-kee"
@cryptovexillologist I'm pretty sure the Dynamax form has already been revealed, when the Lofi Beats to Study To stream was momentarily interrupted it created a mutliple-thousand-hour long video, which is the longest ever uploaded to Youtube as far as I know
Oscilloscope music is like the exact opposite of a memetic kill agent. A memetic flourishing agent, if you will. Check it out:
