Any activity outside of heterosexual marriage is punishable by the death penalty in the Islamic Republic of #Iran.

Around 7000 people have been hanged, shot, stoned, or burned for activities related to sexual orientation since the 1979.

Ghazal Ranjkesh was shot in the eye on November 15.

Ghazal is one of the hundreds of protesters turned blind by security forces, who are targeting women at anti-regime demonstrations with shotgun fire to their faces, breasts and genitals, according to medics (reported by the @TheGuardian).
Men get shot in their legs, buttocks and backs.
