@annmlipton impressive!
@Teri_Kanefield One wonders if the point is to shut down the government, and throw everything into chaos. Finish shunting aside Rs unwilling to break their constitutional oaths, and set the House up to defy the next election...at least in the minds of the few that have their hands on the levers. Some may fear prosecution, and like TFG, are willing to torch us all to keep it from happening. If they succeed, then the insurrection has leveled up.

@JoshuaHolland everybody should turn out tomorrow with a "Free Dennis" T-shirt. Or "Clinging to the Brand"
Last Thursday, Roger Parloff was in the courtroom for Carlos De Oliveira's and Walt Nauta's Garcia hearings in southern Florida. Read what happened in the courtroom and why Nauta's hearing imploded shortly after it began.

Why a Conflicts Hearing For Trump Co-Defendant Waltine Nauta Imploded

The government sprung a new Garcia argument on Judge Cannon. She wasn’t pleased.

@JoshuaHolland we're watching old cowboy movies. Cable hosts are hyperventilating.

Remarkable collapse of the thinly-sourced WSJ story on Iran being behind the attack by Hamas. IDF, US, and outside experts all knocking it down.

Oh look, a 'researcher' whose phony work was used to discredit real people who do real research on internet disinformation campaigns turns out to have a previous, secret life as an alt-right white nationalist

Michael Benz, a conservative crusader against online censorship, appears to have a secret history as an alt-right persona

Michael Benz, a former Trump state department official whose work has been cited in congressional hearings and promoted by Elon Musk, appears to have been a pseudonymous alt-right content creator.

@pluralistic though I agree with much of what you say, I'm not with you on this one. Of course politicians do politics. But rather you should view this through the executive lens. Every circumstance has context. Raising children or running a business or treating patients will tell you this. Principals guide the arc of the institution, but to right a ship, get a kid through school, do a triage, one has to maintain some flexibility, and judgement.
