Forget F-16s for now, what Ukraine really needs this offensive is, as far as I can tell, drones, artillery ammo (including Storm Shadow, Taurus, ATACMS) and demining equipment for infantry (since demining tanks are sitting ducks/priority targets).
F-16s are for the long term. Right now a handful of them will achieve nothing. Ukraine can barely manage combined arms operations on any serious scale let alone Air-Land Battle. (remember how even the Russki's f***ed that one up last year).
