It’s not like the canon material was what kept me in this fandom for 18 months. So, I’m good. I’ll just ignore the things I don’t want to pay attention to and keep playing with the dolls and my head canons.

Doesn’t mean I’m not disappointed. DJenks, you could have made magic. Such a shame you chose not to. But hey, it’s your story, I’m not telling you what to do with it.

I'm very disappointed in some of the fandom today. It's intellectually dishonest to talk out one side of your mouth abt how important and affirming good representation is, but then out the other side of their mouth be dismissive or hurtful towards fans talking about their extremely valid complaints and very real feelings of hurt and betrayal when the writers they trusted ended up writing a story that fumbled the bag. Critique can be a form of love, our love isn't any less because we have issues

In seventh grade a book character died and I cried so hard in the middle of math class, snot was running down my face. I will never judge anyone for grieving a fictional character.
