I figure Mastodon as a platform probably self selects for a higher percentage of people who use non-mainstream things, but I'm going to ask purely out of curiosity:

The nice thing about older consoles is that it just works. Plug in the power, plug in the AV cables, plug in the controllers, put the disc in, and boom you're gaming. I feel like seeing if I have the patience to get any significant amount into Shadow Hearts Covenant now that I'm, uh, 15 years older than last time I tried.
I've decides that I should probably get the CompTIA A+ cert. While I'm fairly confident I already know most of it, given that it's ~500 USD to get it it behooves me to do some studying first. We'll see if my motivation/self-discipline lasts through that time spend.
It always amuses me when a game has a story choice near the beginning that amounts to "Do you accept the premise to play the game" (actual decision varies) and then just strait up closes the game if you pick the no option
I've noticed that the way I put my foot down and walk is very different when I have shoes on vs when I'm barefoot. I wonder how common that is.

I'm mostly switched over to Linux (Subset Arch (Subset Manjaro)) now, and among other things I think it's come with an increase in download speeds; I'm not used to seeing 70+ MBps
I should remove either ghostery or ublock origin from my browser. Any thoughts on which one is better?
I just learned that Helldivers was made by the same people (or at least the same company) that made Magicka, and that suddenly made a lot of things make sense
