Regarding the democrats, I’m not so sure. I mean, yeah, they absolutely are part of the problem, but real politik-wise, I think the rest of the world wants to get back to “business as usual” as fast as possible. The “long term” reputation will still be stained, sure, but democrats will be treated like sensible people if they manage to get the US back to the negotiating table, for however long that may last.

Yeah, I used to like the guy’s work, even if it was tone deaf at times. I initially gave him the benefit of the doubt, and chalked it up to language barriers. He got increasingly obtuse, though, and at some point I just stopped following him entirely.

Yeah, same here. To be honest, the web will lose a great repository of information when Reddit goes the way of the dodo. I wonder if archiving efforts are underway anywhere?
