Exactly 2 years ago today after many weeks of earthquakes, we saw this happening from our rooftop. The new volcano had been born. Although it was special to witness, it brought misery to many people on La Palma.
Now two years later, new roads have been built. Tourists are welcome. The affected area is only a small part of the island and also special to visit.
Some of those affected have been able to buy a piece of land and some are already building a new house. (1/2)

Yesterday we attended Zaz (French singer) at the beautiful Alfredo Kraus Auditorium in Gran Canaria. We first saw Zaz in Lille in 2014 and then again
at Olympia in Paris. In the past 35 years, we have attended over 350 concerts. For me, however, Zaz is No. 1 when it comes to live performances. What energy, what a voice, what fun and what a band!
