For the end of this timetable year, let me briefly break my hiatus (I'm not catching up, sorry!) and wish you all the best for the incoming timetable!
In the attachment you can find my Träwelling rewind... I did not really consider that planes would bias the result so much (if I could, I'd go to Bari by trains! Not that optimistic about Madeira...). The delays are broken, it's a bit of a shame, but Träwelling is working on it, I'll keep you informed asap when it gets fixed.
Other stats: the most frequent vehicle numbers are equally 7853 and 7864 from my local bus line (x26), with honourable mention of 4041 (x9). The most frequently used train sets are equally (x7)   31WEbb-011+012 and 31WEbb-015+016, with honourable mention of EN57-1760 (x6) and EN57AKM-1149 (x7)... what did I even expect...
And to finish up the thread, from Linz I took the  to Brussels. The delay was nearly 90 minutes, crossed the rail border in Passau for the first time, where police has arrested someone and nevertheless managed to arrive one minute earlier!
More coming up in other posts/threads
I've managed to cross Czechia without any issues, even more I made it better than planned! That way, I can sit in an EC to Linz, try out the season menu at  and cross another border to my collection - Horní Dvořiště/Summerau
And I realised nearly every Czech frontier looks the same - hills with forests
The next step is crossing the Przełęcz Okraj-Horní Malá Úpa point by bus, a new one on my map!
Normally the infrastructure owner of this railway line - DSDIK uses orange colour and PKP PLK font for their signage, however in Karpacz at some point it changes to retro styled boards with Bahnschrift font for some reason
Good morning!
In my last poll I asked you what should I do on my trip, so I recognize the results, even if it looks like some Belarusian president elections with turnout of over 100% for some reason
It's my first Interrail ride through Poland, nothing special as I am entitled to 51% discount, but... my goal is to get to Brussels using just a single travel day
And I did not pick the fastest way, I need to get to Linz for my nightjet, moreover I'll try out the newly opened railway to Karpacz and I need to get through Czechia later! (Using the wholesome #verkehrsverbund tariffs there)
This trip will also be focused on border crossings accessible by public transport, so stay tuned for more!
My next train is like 40 mins late... staying in Frankfurt Hbf for that long sounds scary to me...
But here's this thing:
And I'm going back home, onboard ICE 9557 to Frankfurt and then later by ICE 674 to Berlin
Greetings to @pascal who's also onboard!
#NowTräwelling
And I'm here - at the Bordrestaurant, where I've ordered a classic Currywurst with a bun (fries were out), Bitburger Radler beer and the Lieblingsgast small chocolate
Was quite good
Good day everyone!
After some days in Berlin, it's time to move to other place... and actually it was spontaneous! I'll try out the direct ICE from Berlin Ostbhf to Paris Est
Although it showed that train will be rather full and I've seen the reservations... looks like half of people in my carriage simply didn't show up
For now I'm on some detour, moving slowly at 140 km/h and raising doubts if it was actually scheduled...
Stay tuned for the Bordrestaurant update!
