Look at these brazen little raccoons. I had put peanuts out, as I always do, for the Bluejays, crows, and squirrels. But these guys are up late. Don't usually see them mid AM. Poor Bkuejays just sat in the trees waiting for them to leave.

It's 13° out there right now. It's going to be another hourly hummingbird food swapping day. I made these insulators last year and they do help some. Foam pipe insulators that I lined with non fiberglass insulation and added 2 baby leg warmers one inside and out.
Raccoons were back again last night. Camera didn't catch them, but the evidence is glaring. The solar fountain rubber floater was destroyed, and the little reptile stand was flipped over.
My little lucky cat bobble just randomly starts waving. It's solar powered but that area gets no direct sunlight.
I think the raccoons took a bath on our deck water tub and then destroyed the solar fountain. At least they had some fun. 😆
Sun was bright red this AM. I don't see smog but there must be some for it to be that red. This pic isn't that great with my phone camera. It shows as white. But you can see I can look right at it.
South of Seattle right now. Can't even see the hill across the valley. Much worse than earlier this afternoon.
