In my mother’s handwriting, inked onto my forearm for the world to see. Sin no more? Bah! I shall sin gloriously, until the heat death of the Universe!
My brain is trying to kill me. This is nothing new - it has been doing this since I was six years old. For perspective, I’m a month-ish from turning 53. So, yeah, been at it for a minute. Boring.

At the cabin. Mr. Daisy, as usual, was napping between my knees on the recliner. I had to get up and told him so. Then, slowly, I started to put the foot rest down. This is the look I got.
Just put a pot to simmer on the stove to help humidify Casa de Crazy. I know there are machines to do the job, but I grew up doing it this way and like my humidifying brew: orange peel, cinnamon stick, vanilla bean, whole cloves, whole allspice, star anise, and ginger in water.

One more night at the cabin…
Baked my first ever pineapple upside-down cake last night. Family Yule tradition. Mom always made it. It turned out pretty ok.
I may have some for breakfast.
What? Pineapple is fruit. So are cherries. And wheat (flour) is a cereal grain. Fruit and cereal. Breakfast!
