Muslims to lose property for opposing Narendra Modi’s new Indian citizenship law

Several hundred mostly Muslim men face having their property confiscated after being given “unpayable” fines for allegedly vandalising police batons, motorbikes and loudspeakers during protests...

A prominent Muslim actor-activist went out to protest the CAA in Lucknow. She never made it back.

Sadaf Jafar's bail was rejected and she will have to spend atleast another week in jail before court reopens.

Muslims & activists are being targeted in UP.

What an intensely sad remark! Except perhaps in Bengal, it is a spontaneous civil society revolt, with hundreds of thousands Hindus, especially innocent students, joining in. Why be a Carl Schmitt to this regime @[email protected]? Unlike the 1930s Germany, much of India is rising. https://twitter.com/swapan55/status/1208196510271377408

“It is increasingly becoming clear that the present wave of disturbances constitute a Muslim uprising against the community’s political marginalisation. The Citizenship issue is a convenient add-on. They have been joined by Left radicals and liberals who seek open borders,”

Yahaan par kya kar saktey hain?🙄🙄🙄🙄
Some folks were compiling their family history but were confounded about how to describe their great uncle (who had died in the electric chair in prison) in a positive light. After some discussion, this was their final description of their illustrious relative: "Uncle Jerome occupied the chair of applied electronics at one of our leading government institutions. He was attached to his position by the strongest of ties. His death came as a shock."

@ranjona @VivekT Sanghis always had a soft corner for Hitler. Most of them , unless they are very smart and know who they are talking to (and therefore control themselves), sooner or later will blurt out "what Hitler did was right". At least most lower rank Sanghis are like this.

I think they take what he did to Jews as some sort of model about what they should do to Muslims.
