As a child of divorced parents I am impressed with the seemingly mature working relationship you and your ex husband have maintained.

Do you realise you can make chicken nuggets out of actual chicken?

Think of them as mini schnitzel chunks, they are amazing.

They were a staple of our household growing up, and it’s what I think of when someone says “chicken nuggets”

Honestly it’s sort of the principle of it.

Like the car has it, it’s already cost the manufacturer to install it sure there are ongoing dev costs for some things, but not all.

On top of that many manufacturers are locking the features to the one person.

So for example I pay for heated seats. Then I sell the car, and the new owner has to “buy” heated seats again.

I’m sorry I’m not supporting that bullshit or the manufacturers who are doing this one bit even if I don’t pay for a feature.

On top of that there are issues with servicing and also forced firmware updates.

A friend was late to work the other day because his Tesla was doing an update when he tried to leave, like what happens if someone was trying to rush a partner to a hospital or something and you happen to jump in the car as it’s mid way through an update.

I want to be in control of the things I own and pay for, that’s the whole point of owning something. Car manufacturers these days seem to be under the delusion that they still own our vehicles and we are just the money sacks they are renting them to.

It’s not EV’s I’m skeptical of hey.

It’s the cars they are making. The evs are all quite expensive and then all new cars seem to be taking the opportunity to tack on all these extra subscriptions and such.

I’m never buying a car where heated seats are bound to my car app account on a subscription like seriously…

I think windows 10 is going to be the last windows I use on my personal computer.

I hope that proton and general native Linux gaming support gets to a fully supported level before they kill off windows 10.

With the popularity of the steam deck for the first time I’m actually somewhat confident it’s going to get there eventually.

Pretty positive this is going to end up being a DNS level block that will be as simple as setting a dns server outside of the UK to bypass.

Because anything else would create an unbelievable amount of administrative overhead.

Also imagine the spike in identity theft this is going to cause.

It does look a little rare in this picture.

But then I like my steaks on the rare side of medium rare so this looks great to me haha.

Good job man.

I don’t agree that this is necessarily a weakness or that it’s overly strange.

While they might not be able to quite hit the peak fitness of someone in their 20’s and 30’s, you also gain a large amount of meaningful mental fortitude as you get older.

In short you have seen more shit and dealt with more shit. So generally you can bear more headship before breaking, also probably less prone to discipline issues, and the older ones likely provide a good example to the rest.

Also in a war for the survival of your nation all able bodied people are needed. There are naturally more older people than there are younger ones.

I have to say, while not a huge fan of apple…

Most of these hacks I’ve seen seem to have long been patched out.

I still feel iPhones are largely more secure overall even if simply because on average I’m pretty confident the fleet of iPhones in use are using much more up to date software than android devices.

I don’t think that analogy goes far enough…

The sheer level of hurt that the USDF could put on them is completely on a different universe to anything they would have come up against previously.

They 100% could obliterate everything in a that theatre that even resembles a “target” with little warning and zero real strain, it would be significantly less effort than some of the training exercises that happen.

Someone is clearly being paid by someone else to provoke a response or provide a distraction (I wonder who)

Which I think is probably why nothing too crazy has happened in response yet because why give them what they seem to want.
