If it wasn’t because of this
As it stands today, GrapheneOS is exclusively available on Google Pixel devices. Whatever device Motorola is building with GrapheneOS, it’s beyond even the Motorola Signature’s specs, which is currently the “flagship” in Motorola’s lineup, as even that doesn’t meet the needed requirements.
I thought first maybe one year, but that statement made me very sceptical if that is possible.
I see it as different things, you can fall for one gender, you can feel sexual attractive for another but most of the time do they sync. So that made also sense why some had crushes on the gender they wouldn’t be together with.
It all clicked when I got to know a girl who could fall in love with men and women but couldn’t enjoy having sex with guys even tho she tried to really liked it with the guys she fell for. And that also made me understand what pan really was because I thought it was just bi with extra steps but when gender identity, gender romance and gender sexually was all different things then it all made sense.
This is very interesting to read, I thought I was alone in this, I do not get excited when I travel, being with friends and family is what matters, not where I am, I have traveled many times (been to four continents and more than 10 countries at least once) but never really felt much about the traveling part, and I never get FOMO when someone tells me about their trip. But everyone seem to want to travel all the time.
I do like trying new things a lot, going to different restaurants, eating and drinking different types of food, testing different forms of entertainment or sports, and so on, learning about someone’s experience, I just do not care for traveling.
But I do believe in diversity and that we should all get to experience many cultures so we can understand each other, seeing is believing, I think more people need to experience other perspectives.
That said, I still do not find traveling abroad appealing, I’m not against it, I’m just weirdly neutral on the topic, while my friends dream of traveling.
I heard a radio segment about this but it was about expensive/premium brands like BMW, Audie and Ferrari. Apparently it’s a very psychological thing where driving an expensive car makes you feel entitled and you start driving like a douche, even if you know it will happen to you. This was many many years ago so I do not remember his name so do what you will with the info. But I do think there can be some truth in it, because power do corrupt and we have seen that happened many times. But I think you do need to have a special mindset to buy those huge trucks if you only drive them on asphalt.
But I can imagine looking down on everyone and taking up a lot of space makes them feel special/better than the rest.
I feel this way too, between 2005 and 2010 could no one show me a videon from youtube that I hadn’t seen (well maybe but it never happened). it was so “bad” that my friends stoped linking videos because I had seen it already lol. Now is that impossible! Unless it is a person who watch the same youtubers as I do which is mainly makers and creative ppl. This is also why YouTube rewind would never work for me anymore.
I felt that most ppl on the internet was like minded ppl and we had a culture going on, now does it matter more what platform you are on and it feels more like part of your real life. I haven’t seen ppl use IRL at all for example and I assume it is because the difference is not as clear anymore, the two world’s have mixed together. I remember we talked about our real lifes as if that was a whole different universe almost.
