A SANTOS SCOOP: The 2022 Santos campaign reported a Santos family member donated $5800. We spoke to this person. They say they never gave any money. Yet another questionable donation for Santos. The latest from Noah Lanard and me....And Santos' campaign reported several of his relatives—including a mail handler, a painter, students & his sister Tiffany—made large donations totaling over $45K. Tiffany wouldn't confirm whether she & these relatives made the donations.

People need to be better informed. That’s a no brainer. Yet the more we absorb news coverage the more negative we are about the state of our lives. From time to time someone comes up with a “good news” show and it inevitably fails. People seem to thrive on bad news. That’s why we cover plane crashes but not when planes land safely. It’s why our lives are impacted by events that really don’t have a direct impact. “I can’t go bowling tonight because they had an earthquake in Bangladesh”.

@msnbc Hearing media figures trying to compare Trump and Biden on this is laughable. If Trump had handled it the way the Biden team did it wouldn’t even have been a story. Instead, Trump went into his default mode. He lied.

@ferrous @rbreich isn’t that the way our constitution works? Doesn’t an investigation always precede an indictment? I know it seems like it takes forever but that’s also the case in legal matters. Now the Georgia grand jury has finished its work and I would be surprised if an indictment isn’t forthcoming there as well.
