@woozle this isn't really a public server or anyone's thing but my own anyway, so you'd have nothing to take over.
@kyzh i'm referring to ancient history. half of the reason i set up this server is so i could look over the mastodon.social instance blocks and see what was going on.
now we're at the point where a lot of the really early precedents have been set, and as it turns out a lot of the people that are on those banned servers stress me out.
and i get pre-emptively distrusted by some people i'd otherwise probably get along well with, so it's become not worth it.
no more point to keeping this server going, things have gone how they're going to and tbh it was dumb to even get involved in it at all
yeah, okay, it'd probably be best to spin this thing down and move elsewhere.
