I feel like its the best the media has achieved so far. The color representation, the purposeful distortion of the visuals, the visual design itself, all coming together in a batshit over the top nonsense story. It is the pure essence of a cartoon mixed with some of truly passionate artistic expression.

Honestly I dont even care for the characters. Its a feast for my eyes.

There are other works with much better stories, way more technical visual design, and all kinds of other neat shit. Nothing beats Redline for me when it comes to any anime.

Tremors 1, 2 or 3. Don’t bother with 4+ its all straight to DVD nonsense.
