I’m very happy to announce a new pinball game that I’ve created. Young Martial Artist is a karate-themed game for the Heist playfield module on the Multimorphic P3!

Help a youth improve their karate skills and increase their belt ranking. Complete all six training modes and qualify for a tournament, then celebrate with a Victory Laps multiball.

Available now in the Multimorphic store at https://www.multimorphic.com/store/p3-game-kits/3rd-party-game-kits/young-martial-artist/

Young Martial Artist - Multimorphic, Inc

Start your training! Learn karate and play pinball at the same time. Young Martial Artist was created by Neil Wilson as an homage to 1980s martial arts movies and 1990s solid state pinball machines. It is provided as a free download for all P3 owners with the Heist playfield module. Install Young Martial Artist via System Manager either over Wi-Fi on network-connected P3's or by first downloading the package from your Multimorphic software download page. Note - only accounts with at least one registered P3 will see available downloads.

I had a pretty good game of Ghostbusters pinball last night.

My previous best score, from about two weeks ago, was 3,884,951,700 points, and that was an incremental improvement over the 3,757,421,490-point score that had stood for over eight months before that.

I had my best ever finish in a pinball tournament last night. I tied for third on points, although I was officially ranked fourth based on the relative rankings of our opponents. At any rate, it was enough to get into the group A finals for the first time, at which point I was pretty handily destroyed by the other three (much more highly rated) players.

I didn’t think that “The Karate Kid meets Psycho” costume that I put together for a Halloween party was the best choice for greeting trick-or-treaters. Instead, I kept the dress from the Mrs. Bates portion of the costume, and added a wolf mask and gloves and a little hat to turn myself into the Big Bad Wolf impersonating the grandmother from the Little Red Riding Hood story.

And then we got zero trick-or-treaters. So the effort was wasted, but I still think it was a decent costume.
