We are children of stardust, specs in a vast universe, and blips on the cosmic timeline. We are creatures of space and time, mere animals with the ability to examine ourselves and our surroundings. Perhaps our greatest gift of all is the ability to fool ourselves into becoming civilized creatures, to waste our mind and body at worthless jobs, to delude ourselves into accepting other's rule. We exist within a sliver of opportunity yet we squander our good fortune and resign ourselves to outside influences.

Break out of your shell, reflect upon your existence, and strive for a better tomorrow. Our lives are inherently worthless, no one will value you as much as yourself. Find purpose in your life, or end it. Do not break your mind or body for another man's ambition, do not become a tool of the wealthy, and do not fall for the deceit of those who wish to use you.

Tomorrow is a new day. End the toxic relationships, organize your sleeping quarters, and pursue that goal you believe to be out of reach. You may not succeed, and that is okay. Failure is a lesson that should be studied. Those who never fail are unworthy of respect, for they have never lived a substantial life. Respect is earned, and you must earn your own self-respect if you wish to separate yourself from the mediocre and worthless.

We each get one shot at life, will you waste it? Will you resign yourself to the dregs of society, a consumerist leech to be used, thrown away, and forgotten? Or will you contribute to the legacy of humanity? Only you can make that choice. You are solely responsible for the value of your existence. Make something worthwhile out of your life, or perish.
Given the choice, corporations will always choose profits over people. That’s why the people have unions.

Maybe it’s got something to do with the fact that over 60% of low-wage workers don’t have paid sick leave.

Because the U.S. is one of only six countries with no national policy for it.

Things you can thank a union for:

-Weekends
-Breaks at work
-Paid vacation
-Minimum wage
-An 8-hour workday
-Overtime pay
-Child labor laws
-Sick leave
-Employer-based health coverage

Don’t have some of these? Maybe it’s time to form a union.

Do you have a bicycle, ebike, moped, or motorcycle?

If so, figure out the monetary value of your bike. Your lock setup should cost a minimum of 10%-20% of the value of your bike.

Do you have a cheap $30 bike? A cheap $6 bike lock will probably suffice.

Do you have an expensive $3,000 ebike or mountain bike? You should invest a minimum of $300 on your security solution. This includes locks, secondary locks, chains to a grounded object, hidden trackers, and unauthorized movement alarms.

You can adjust the % value up or down depending on the amount of risk you are willing to tolerate. The point is that you should invest in security proportional to the value of your item. This rule of thumb can be applied in many places throughout life.
