My very annoying bank still doesn't always encode spaces properly in URLs, in 2026, leading to PDF downloads where spaces in the file name are replaced with “%20”.

Thankfully, I can use a @KeyboardMaestro macro to fix this.

@spitfire we've rarely had an issue. This was likely just a badly written crawler with access to a botnet of cracked IoT devices.
Looks like we've resolved the issue for now. Probably a combination of a badly written bot tied in to a global botnet of compromised devices (given the connections came from ISPs all over the world).

@spitfire sure. But we prefer an open web generally, rather than one that is controlled by a few large corps.
Looks like our wiki is under some sort of bot attack (same as the one that took out dokuwiki a short while ago). We may just shut it down for a few hours to try to get them to back off, or we'll just keep blocking IPs until we run out of disk space to number them all (if you get accidentally blocked from the wiki, just contact support with your IP address).
Last chance to get me on the BundleHunt sale (https://bundlehunt.com/) - we will not be able to match this sale price after the sale is finished. The sale finished tonight for some definition of “tonight”.
