To those who are not, I say

Looking for some #infosec help, please!

While I’m a huge Stan of y’all geniuses & try to learn more everyday, I’m a smidge over ignorant when it comes to all this.

I was checking our Wi-Fi advanced security & noticed both my & my partner’s phones apparently attempted to access h.parrable.com on the same day ~1.5hrs apart. From a quick search I see it’s malicious. We were both home that day and neither recall doing anything that could have caused it. Could anyone explain, using the basics, what it is - I’d like to learn? It was blocked but should I do anything else? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Background: I change & don’t share our Wi-Fi & other passwords regularly; monitor devices connected & sites blocked; have addt’l security on Wi-Fi & our devices; don’t open sketch or unknown emails or sites; use a VPN when traveling; & recently, follow the current hacking trends & adjust as much as I can understand; etc.
