Just returned from Kristallnacht commemoration, recognizing the lies, hate-filled rhetoric, & injustices that led to the Holocaust. UVic historian Kristin Semmens spoke of the acts of resistance & what we can learn in terms of resisting the lies & hate-filled rhetoric of today. Good 2 c Jewish community gathered w others (incldg Premier John Horgan) standing together against the rising bigotry around us.
