I thought that might be the case. But the one magazine showed something from 10 hours ago. Yet didn't show a post from an hour ago. And if it only showed the new ones, surely it shouldn't show anything older than when I joined.
I know they had that Cloudflare thing, but that seems to be taken down now. It does federate, just not everything.

KBin Magazines Have Very Few Posts in Lemmy - Lemmy.world

Not sure if this is the right community to post. I’m very new to Lemmy and Kbin, coming from Reddit. I have been joining many communities on Lemmy. I noticed today that Kbin was federating, so it should be possible to subscribe to their magazines from lemmy.world. I did that for their large ones. But it only shows two or three posts. Is it a matter if waiting for the others to be populated, or are they not compatible?

The difference is also on Reddit, it felt like your comment would never be seen, because there were so many. It's not the same here. Which makes commenting actually feel worthwhile.
Yes, this feels freer. It can't be affected in the same way Spez is messing up Reddit. I'm waiting for more content (I will probably make some myself) that isn't just talking about Rexxit or switching over.
Wait, you can edit post titles? That's so cool!
I feel like I'd be more scared with a laptop, because everything is smaller and more delicate. I don't trust my hands with things that are too intricate.

This is a cool prompt, but really tricky.

When I was young, I always wanted to be an author. I wrote my own stories, but they were basically my guesses of what Harry Potter was like, before I actually read them. After that, writing a story has always felt so daunting. But I've eventually made some headway, when I chose to start writing again on 1 June. It's the furthest I've got in years - I actually know where my story is going, and who the characters are.

That sounds interesting. Cyberpunk makes me think of like 80s neon, but in a futuristic world. The urbanite in me loves that idea. I definitely don't think it's basic.
That actually makes perfect sense. Making a post can be scary. I'm making a deliberate effort to actually say something, rather than lurking. But deciding what to say is tricky, especially if you don't know how you're going to be received. I'm glad something like that can help.
