Frame generation like upscaling should also be optional.
Borderless Windowed should be the new default for display modes, as it allows the users to tab out easily, as well as go onto their second monitor without restrictions.
Anti-aliasing and Ambient Occlusion should be a higher focus when developing them for engines, as they are two of the most apparent graphical features (Anti-aliasing is current a heavy point in graphics, as its a major problem with TAA.)
Here's my phliosphy around graphics in video games.
Any kind of upscaling (DLSS, FSR, Xess...) should be an OPTIONAL feature the user can enable for an extra boost to FPS at the loss of a slight amount of clarity.
Ultra settings shouldn't be a common set in any situation, it should be an optional feature that uses the absolute maximum of the engine, instead of being set by the game on default.
