The fact I caught this for $30 today still has me in a bit of shock. Stopped by Goodwill looking for something completely different, looked at a monitor mount that was beefy and said, I wonder if that would work with my G9, first result was ergotron’s page and hit the Amazon link, $400! I’ll take a ~90% discount thanks! Will free up some desk space that’s for sure.

Harken back to the old meme of “America should invade America to ____”. Then to realize we did do that, but it was the fascist that succeed in invading and we’re all much worse off than ever before.

Too often I scroll past posts from the Auschwitz Museum and reflect on all those lost to senseless hatred and propaganda. More often now I wonder if that’s the road America is now marching down. Little by little it has crept its way into our everyday lives. Will the resistors be the new faces posted on their own memorial page one day? Who will save us from ourselves when we have some of, if not the most sophisticated weapons and defenses ever built?

America is large. We could easily build camps in remote areas and hide people away never to be seen or heard from again.
