Intro post time:
I'm Kat. I retired from doing IT stuff, and now I get to learn how to draw and make music. As you'd expect, this is where I'll post my adventures with drawing.

I'm at the point where it still feels like magic, to wave a pen or pencil over paper, and watch things take shape on the page.

Constructive criticism is always welcome, including "this specific part of the picture doesn't work because of that specific aspect of the way you drew it."
