Nancy Pelosi is 82. She just led House Democrats to an unexpectedly good midterms outcome. Media’s first question is when she’ll retire.

Mitch McConnell is 80. He just led Senate Republicans to a humiliating defeat. Not one question about when he’ll step aside.

If Dems did as badly as Republicans did this cycle, the media would be blaming Pelosi and questioning her leadership (they do it even when she wins). Instead McCarthy is basically being let off the hook for what should be a career-ending failure.

Media ran a ton of racist propaganda stories about Critical Race Theory and got Glenn Youngkin elected by doing so. Of course they won’t follow-up in equal measure to inform people Youngkin's “CRT tip-line”was recently deactivated due to lack of tips. Because it was a fake issue.
