#Introduction Salam, my background is in vocational rehabilitation as it pertains to blindness, digital marketing, and digital accessibility. In the past, I have served on the local, state, and national levels of the National Federation of the Blind., advocating for the rights of all blind people. I am a student of comparative religion and passionate about promoting understanding between people holding differing religious, political, and other beliefs. I am also passionate about the use of Braille. Previously, I worked with the NFB Muslims Group and Islam By Touch to develop a program which provided an opportunity for blind Muslims to connect with the. Qur’an by promoting literacy in Arabic (Qur’anic) Braille. currently, I serve as the Assistant Program Manager of one of the premier training centers in the United States, SAAVI Phoenix. Additionally, I am a published author, writing on topics such as comparative religion, disability, digital marketing, and entrepreneurship. Michael BabcockHere’s an update from our local police dispatch radio. Someone requested a welfare check for a blind individual who appeared to be hitchhiking down the highway. Thankfully, the officer called out on dispatch for this particular incident stated that even though the individual was blind, he can do what he would like, and this doesn’t Meet the requirement for a welfare check. #Thank youOfficer. #Inclusion.
