@KD3BTG Using radio stuff as an excuse to get outside.

@KD3BTG Looks nice! I confess, when I end up needing bags, I'm planning to ask the spouse and take advantage of informed/hyperfixated opinions. :)

Are you planning to get out this weekend? I'm hopefully going to Fort Washington for some chunk of Saturday.

@c_dan4th My accounts are hobby related, not real-life-socialization related. Overlap is mostly coincidental (though a little higher for one alt than this one) and I'm more likely to've "met" mutuals in other contexts online.
@w8emv So far, I like Mana. (I'm mostly done mucking about with it and, I dearly hope, GitHub.) https://kd3cpy.github.io

@M0YNG Heh. Yeah, not a good look.

There are many more egregious issues with Buying Clothes As A Woman(TM), but gendered T-shirts is an annoying one for me as a (a) cis woman who (b) likes to wear T-shirts and is (c) fat and (d) busty. (After a couple conversations and demonstrations, I have trained the spouse that for T-shirt purposes, I am no lady.)

I have gotten to the point with Hugo where I've attempted to use a non-starter theme, switched up to extended, added a couple other things, and still got error messages. I am now filing that theme under "can't be arsed" rather than "you're doing it wrong." (I know I can fix him--the he in this case being Gruvbox--but there's no reason to do so. The entire point of using Somebody Else's Theme is so I don't have to muck around with the theme.)
@croyle @HopelessDemigod Since the focus of the TLD seems to lean more industry, the higher price isn't surprising. (In contrast to the days when .biz was a bargain-basement alternative to .com.) That last big round of TLDs was wild.

@w8emv My TSOR also included 11ty and Jekyll and...maybe there was another one in there? I kinda picked Hugo because I noticed somebody in a webring used it, and I was basically just fine, good enough, this is not a decision that requires rumination.

(There is part of me that really resents Markdown, because is it really so difficult to use <strong> or <b> instead of an asterisk?)

@w8emv Yeah, the new hotness is not always hot...
@w8emv I'm basically doing this because I want to not do anything else with WP (I have a site that I cannot be arsed to move, it can just sit there and it's fine). I did the "hey, I'll just handcode something on Neocities" and that was fun. But doing a beefier static site has some appeal. Even though I'm not planning to do anything beyond a basic landing page and the occasional blog post.
