@k6hx I like the idea of doing this in PostScript! /Helvetica findfont 15 scalefont setfont 100 100 moveto (Nice job!) show showpage
@smitty It was pretty straight forward. I’ve done it some time ago, so don’t remember any details. If something would have gone wrong, I would remember :)
@n0aw Yup, there are only four. I ran into this problem before. That’s when you write a Python script that reads the coordinates stored in one field and looks up the county and calculates the grid before you upload to LOTW :)
@Katy I’ll add to the Hakko or Weller crowd. I used to do 10000+ solder joints a day with a Weller. It just kept on going. Now I have a Hakko (purchased during their recent anniversary sale). All the soldering I do now is hobby related, so not that extreme anymore, but I still like a tool that just works.
@n0aw You can create four custom fields in RUMlogNG and map them to ADIF fields.
@Kimberly I used StarOffice on OS/2 - now LibreOffice on maOS and Linux.
@Mobilinkd Nice! Both the SDR, but also the chips coming in. Personally, I am more excited about the latter ;) Maybe there is a TNC3 in my future
@N3VEM We are all sorry to see you go, but we all know that there are other things in life more important than a hobby (or volunteering for such hobby). Enjoy the time with your family. I’ll be looking forward to catching you on the air whenever you’ll find some time to activate or hunt my activations. Thank you for all you’ve done!
@xyzzy Take all. Read diary.
@N3VEM Nothing wrong with being rather #liberal and a bit #crunchy - #WelcomeToTheClub ;)
