I have gotten really interested in NixOS recently, but I've also been really happy with SteamOS on my Steamdeck.
And so far I only tried NixOS with gnome, How does it work with kde? In my experience, kde doesn't like to be on an immutable distro.

I'm actually a bit surprised.
I thought younger people would be a bit more involved in technical stuff and more aware of what is good and what is bad about social media.

@springdiesel Thats a bit surprising. I use tusky and subscribing to hashtags definitely works for me.
But yes in theory there are some clients, like Metatext for example, who are "behind" mastodons full feature set/the website.

@krzyzanowskim I believe that the quality of an apple social network would be good. And I also think that they would do many things right. Few are better with ui/ux design then apple. But Im afraid they'd do something like only having an app on ios and confining android users to a browser or something like that.
