People of the First Trees
From our upcoming album A Time Before Us.
A continuing Echoes of Breath Music project exploring forests, streams, animals, memory, and the relationship between humanity and the living world.
Sung in Woadin, an artistic language created to evoke atmosphere and emotional connection rather than direct translation.
Written, arranged, and produced by J. Koda / Echoes of Breath Music.
@Boerps Thank you again. I genuinely appreciate all these sources and links.
I’ve spent years loving cinematic, choral, folk and atmospheric music, but only recently started exploring opera more deeply. It honestly feels like discovering an entirely new world.
And thank you for being so welcoming about it.
@Boerps This playlist is fantastic. Thank you for sharing it.
I actually write music myself, including some opera-inspired and theatrical pieces, though probably closer to cinematic folk/choral work than traditional opera. So this is exactly my kind of rabbit hole.
@Boerps This is wonderful, thank you. I’ve been exploring more opera and European cultural streams lately, especially live productions and choral works.
I write music too, including pieces that lean into opera and theatrical storytelling, though probably in a more modern/cinematic direction. So these links feel like finding a hidden lantern-lit hallway of the internet.
