Es ist fast schon poetisch. Während Nintendo eingefleischten Fans regelmäßig vor den Kopf stößt mit unfertigen, technisch unausgereiften Pokémon Titeln mit einer leeren Open World, haben Fans mit Rom Hacks und Fan Games oft eine Lösung.

So kann man z.B. in Pokémon Lazarus eine durch Griechenland inspirierte Welt mit Monstern neuerer Generation und vielen Quality of Life Updates in einer 2nd Gen Optik genießen. Fan Games warten auf frustrierte Fans der neuen Teile.

If you want to have novel classic Pokémon experience, try out fan-made games. They deliver what GameFreak and Nintendon‘t.

Every time they disappoint with new releases I grab another fan game and get my fix there.

Nintendo became really anti consumer. Their most important property Pokémon had its 30th anniversary yesterday. And in order to celebrate they released: An overpriced DLC and 20€ GBA Games (FireRed and LeafGreen). Download only. Want both? 40€!

As someone who grew up with playing Pokémon my entire childhood this feels like an insult.

I'm back to listening to music with an mp3 player and feel nostalgic for sorting through my digital library and ripping recently bought CDs.

Recommendation of the day: Tame Impala - Deadbeat. It's a banger album!
