Eeesh. I never had it get to the point of anaphylaxis. A medicine called hydroxyzine. It’s an antianxiety med that also happens to help with histamines. So it’s a win/win for me really.

I’m trying really hard not to lurk
I believe that some Republicans would argue that we have too many “ethnics” already.
But the nice thing is that it did indeed end. When I asked my doc if there was an unsafe amount of Benadryl per day, she finally found something that helped.
About 7 years, and then one day it just stopped. I still occasionally get the random hive from time to time, but no more full body hives.
As someone who had idiopathic urticaria I wish you the best of luck.

Did I read that story correctly? More than 50% of injured soldiers required 3 or more artificial limbs. And 90% of injured soldiers have returned to combat? That can’t be right!
While I’m happy to hear we are good enough friends to share this kind of misery with, I really wish you wouldn’t. Sometimes NOT sharing is caring.
