If 'serious' news outlets could start framing a presidential candidate repeating disproven conspiracy theories as 'repeats disproven conspiracy theory' instead of 'claims', that would go a long way in the push back against disinformation.
Otherwise, it's just repeating disinformation for profit. Which isn't what journalism should be.
This seems like a good reason not to cull wolves.
