Spending some time with a book that I was completely obsessed with when I was a kid.

Ringing in the New Year in the least relaxing way. I don’t think a film as ever made me this tense before!

I am a total sucker for other peoples reading lists and book recommendations, loved reading this, the urge to discover (and now stock) books that could really connect with people is never ending

I’ve been waiting for the right time to read Elatsoe by Darcie Little Badger, illustrated by Rovina Cai. Currently stuck on the sofa under a duvet and this book is wonderful, absolutely my kind of story to get lost in.

So, so happy to be at home for the next few days with my kids. To be a single mum and managing to pull this off, it makes me feel immensely proud and grateful. Wishing everyone a peaceful time. X
