Definitions of “Emergency:”

Policeman - “We have a ten car pileup on the freeway with three people trapped under the wreckage.”

Fireman - “We’ve got floors five and six fully engulfed with flames and the building has not, I repeat, has not been evacuated.”

IT Guy - “We had a SQL issue and now we’re gonna have to cycle our app pools DURING WORKING HOURS!”

My son’s hockey team won this morning with him getting a hat trick. So that means we go to a local diner famous for their giant pancakes. So that means I end up on the couch like a wounded bear, watching football for three hours.
