There's no such thing as a "quick" blog post that calls for a bit of data analysis so I 1) understand the data sufficiently and 2) hopefully don't make too many mistakes.
There are very few things that I need tomorrow or the next day. If I really really need them, I’ll go get them.
I have started choosing prime delivery day instead of immediate delivery.
I have to think that that is better for climate and cost, and often I forget what I’ve ordered and it’s always a bit of a surprise.
I wonder what the effect would be if Amazon were to default to prime delivery day; it takes three or four clicks versus the one for “buy now.” A little nudge goes a long way.
There’s something freeing about leaving in the morning, not knowing what route I’ll take.
