His silhouette is all over Managua. That’s THE famous pic of him, the curve of the hat is what makes it so recognizable to me. We should mention he is famous as an anti-imperialist not as a communist was known to be very short (often called bajito). And now the Sandino name’s been tarnished by the Sandinistas co-opting his name long after his death and then changing their own ideology a number of times. Sandino himself had a vision of a unified Central America (I believe it was mostly southern CA, Guatemala, Honduras, costa rica etc).

I would never say YOU HAVE GOT MAIL without the contracion, I would say “you have mail”, and with the contraction in the shorter sentence it sounds British to say: “you’ve mail”
